The brick town
The Cairo and Fulton Railroad founded Malvern in 1870, and it became the county seat on October 15, 1878. Local clay earned it the nickname "The Brick Capital of the World." The city lies southeast of the Ouachita River where the river leaves the Ouachita Mountains, and I-30 passes through its northwest side at exits 97, 98 and 99.
Rules
Malvern is outside Garland County and has its own city government, so Hot Springs' street-tree ordinance and brush service don't apply; ask the city. State rules on overhead lines, 811 and pest treatment apply; see tree rules.
Requests also come in from Hot Springs Village, Lake Hamilton, Mountain Pine, and from Hot Springs itself. See every area.
